"...for now."

LOL

That's hilarious. If not "now," then when?

Let me answer for liberals: All of you who were slobbering from the mouth when Messiah Barack said "this time is different" must now formally accept the fact that you have been misled and lied to and otherwise trotted through the town square as mere worthless pawns in the gun control debate. The King wanted you to get upset at Republicans those who "cling to their guns", and you listened to him to the point that it irrevocably clouded your judgement. Had any of you been able to see past your Barack Blinders™ you would have known that an assault weapons ban, regardless of Newtown, was nothing more than a Liberal Wet Dream with absolutely no basis in reality of actually occurring.

One day.....one day....you folks might finally wake up and realize that putting so much stock in one man was perhaps the folly of your lifetime.

Good.

First, it's about time we moved on to things that are important, like getting our fiscal house in order.

Second, the law abibing people of this country get a reprive on their rights.

Third...maybe AR parts and ammo will come back down in price!

The sad part is the bottom feeders are just waiting for another crazy person to do something stupid so then can crawl out from under their rocks and try to exploit some deaths to promote their political agenda.

Don't worry. The Democrat socialists will simply wait a few months, until they figure people have forgotten about their defeat, and then re-introduce the bill as though it were a "new" idea, ignore its history, and start the fight all over again.

Standard tactics for the left.

Here is the thing I don't understand.......Feinstein knew this wasn't going to pass. Still, how much time, effort and money did she waste on putting this together?

The reason the Democrats are unwilling to pass a ban on assault weapons is..... the gun's fault... don't you know? The guns murdered the legislation... we need to ban guns! Oh, we are back to that again are we?... /sarcasm...

Heh, there are other parts of the bill that might pass. Don't ignore those.
