I never said nothing happened. I said the police did nothing wrong. I stand by that statement. The victims of this fiasco of course have reason to be upset, as I would be. Upset with the jackass who anonymously alleged child abuse. Not with the police who looked into that allegation.
When the police told the man, that he "looked guilty" by requesting they get a warrent to seach his home, they did something wrong. Period. End of story.
When the idiot in CPS saw the picture and decided that this was evidence of possible abuse, she did somethign wrong. Period. End of story.
You would have had a much better argument if you had used a reasoned explanation without making claims of a warrantless raid which would have been illegal.
It's like you start a thread "Man murdered with girl scout cookies"....and then we find out he accidentally ate peanuts and died of an accidental allergic reaction.
The thread has some items to be upset about, the hyperbole however wrecks credibility.
All I did was quote the article.
I said -
Quote:
This is so sad. No warrant, and they want to do what?
So it looks scary? THAT'S the reason? Jeez, that means all bald headed, big muscled people should be arrested, because they look big and scary! Seriously, this is really going too far!
They had no right to even be there. AND, to threaten to take away his kids?
Nowhere did I specifically state other than quoting others, what you have ascribed to me. Even the TITLE of the thread was a copy and paste.
The police DID attempt to enter the house without a warrant, and the man stood up for his rights. I however used no hyperbole.
Hate to tell you guys, that is no 22 caliber long rifle, rifle. Look at the mag and look at the breach. That is the same mag. my daughters browning 223 has. So yes, it is a 22, but it is a 223
But that is besides the point here. Any caliber up to .50, is perfectly legal to own, without the kings permission.

A 12 gauge is .73 caliber. A 28 gauge shotgun is .55 caliber.
I'm surprised the cops didn't murder the family. In self defense of course.
The barrel does have that bore. But if you fire that big of a slug, up would damage the barrel from stress. the barrel wall thickness on shot guns are thinner than rifles and hand guns.
The slug inside the shell by law can be no bigger than .50, with packing and the plastic casing.
It is not a good idea to shoot slugs all the time, they cause a lot of wear.
IMO if an allegation of abuse is found to be without merit, the name of the person who made the report should be made available to the family who was reported.
I always said, if you make a false charges on someone, they chould be charged for it, and the max penalty be, the same max penalty of the false crime claimed.
Example, girl falsely claims a guy raped her, her max penatly should be the same as the max penalty for rape.

Ridiculous hyperbole much?
