So here's the conundrum for right-thinking people: If your dead weight is going to be on my tab, you bet I want you to have a Health Enforcement Officer. 10% of the people were already paying 70% of fedieral income tax; Obamacare premiums and subsidies are sharply progressive in favor of the lower income folks; and the Dem platform is to raise taxes on the higher incomes again and again. So sure, you want me to pay all of your health expenses, you better take care of yourself or expect a whole lot of grief. I'd rather keep more of my money and pay less of your bills, but if you are going to take my money for your bills, I want somebody to tell you to get the hell away from the Skittles.

only difference between private insurance.. and public option is.. private.. someone's making money off you at the top..and they're a business which means they want healthy people paying.. and sick people off the rolls...essentially making it a cartel due to the nature of healthcare being a necessity rather than a product/service subject to typical market values..and then you wonder why it's so expensive?? the whole thing is like the anti-thesis to true healthcare... but we just love our private healthcare don't we..best system in the world!!! everyone in those socialist places are dying in lines right?? MERICA!

get ready.. because if you don't have it yet.. you will.. it's not just my employer..they just happened to start it this year because many other small to mid sized companies are opting with this when contracting with large insurance companies... with the rising costs of healthcare in general, it's a way of making the people on the rolls "more healthy" in hopes of them having less services..which in turn means less pay outs for medical care.. there's an online portal that you're required to log into every quarter and set health goals, and track your health goals with this "coach"..if you fail to participate to a standard.. your rate out of your paycheck goes up 20%... so.. whether it's uncle sam.. or bubba the head of these healthcare/pharmaceutical companies.. the trend is going towards making you jump through hoops.. their hoops to combat the rising costs that are caused by it being a for profit system in the first place...
we need a nonprofit public option for everyone.. increase the medicare tax and extend it to everyone..problem solved..takes the burden off of employers.. on average 45 percent of someone's total compensation is their "benefits".. which makes the american worker expensive even at 7-8 dollars per hour...
