I guess we need to outlaw sharp objects now. My point is, if someone is determined to kill you, they will use what ever is available. No gun, use a knife.

I think some are mainly concerned with a person walking into a movie theater or school and gunning down dozens of people within minutes, which would be much more difficult to do with a knife. The prevention of mass murder seems to be the goal.

Precisely! And for all these people who say you can kill someone with bricks or pencils, let them carry bricks and pencils to defend themselves.

I am sure they will find a way. Whats to stop them from throwing a gasoline bomb through a door or window.

It's a lot harder to use ninja skills than it is to use marksmanship.

Yep. Just mix two very common household chemicals, both of which are in nearly every home, and you will make massive clouds of chlorine gas.

Mix two other not-so-common chemicals and you get nitroglycerin.

Mix two other quite common chemicals and you get an explosive commonly used in mining.

A gun is NOT required for mass murderer!

Where there's a will, there will be a way. Now with the interwebs, there is better access to knowledge too.
