Oh... this is rich. Aware that he and the MCCCP are vulnerable to prosecution for violating the Posse's charter and tax exempt status, this whole claim that the MSM was "threatened" appears to be Zullo trying to set up an alibi for breaking the law.

Zullo's excuse is that "as an investigator he sought transparency, and he just wanted the information made available to everyone who wished a closer look. He said it was not an easy decision. He knew he would be ridiculed by the media if the information was released, but the alternative of allowing the information to be squelched and people kept in the dark was just too much of an injustice. He decided to allow the ebook project in order to disseminate the facts of the case: that there is probable cause to believe Obama’s birth certificate document is a forgery."

The problem with this stupid claim is that Zullo never was obligated to take a penny from the sale of the book. But he did anyway.

Did threats silence media on Obama probe?

The folks who can think for themselves know the truth just let the lefty loonies think their messiah is the next coming of jesus christ if they want....we can sit back and laugh at them and their lack of in depth thinking or logic.

I want to start by saying I am not a birther and think anyone who is most likely is a racist extremist who can't live with the fact a black man is President.

That said, the birther view is probably the most politically incorrect and least tolerated view in America, morso even than being against same sex marriage, and has been since 2008. I wonder why that is. If anybody dares ask that question they are immediately destroyed by the media and the PC police. I don't remember anything close to this much vitriol from the right against liberals who insisted Bush was in on 9/11. In fact, one could still hold that view and be viewed with more respect and more politically correct than merely asking questions about Obama.

As someone who has observed the birther movement since close to its inception, I think this assertion is absurd. You would stack that up against Holocaust denial? Explicit racism?

Since it is a figment of your imagination, I do not share your wonder.

As Thomas Jefferson wrote, "Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions." And if you don't remember a similar response to 9/11 Truthers, then you simply weren't paying attention.

Only by other Truthers.

I am not a birther. I am proud to have an African American President and in fact think he's one of the greatest leaders in our nation's history.

But there is no viewpoint that will bring a person more hatred and disgust than asking that question. Not even being against same sex marriage, a very intolerated position in America, garners as much personal hatred.

Didn't the money from the book go to charity?

You should round all those birfers up and send them to Nunavut. We will put them out on an iceberg in the Arctic ocean. They should be interested because they will really find out the truth about "Global Warming". AS the berg vanishes beneath their feet they will be still crying, "It's not true, it's all a LIBERAL conspiracy, it's ice worms eating all the ice". "There's communists behind this, aided and abbeted by those socialist Canuks"!!!!!!!!!
