Journalism increasingly does not let facts get in the way of reporting inaccuracies that confirm their audiences' perceptions:
This one is about Fox. They all do it.
Fox News Channel anchor apologized for falsely saying that President Barack Obama had offered to pay for the operation of a museum of Muslim culture "out of his own pocket" during the government shutdown.
Most of the left wing outlets proudly continue their blunders.
And much of the mainstream media continues their obvious bias.
Well, to be fair, even CNN had to eat some crow back in the spring. The fact is, media is full of it and it is our job to find out the real story. Anyone who hears any story from the media and does not question, is gullible, naive, and just plain dumb.
Actually, this thread is the first I heard of the story and I would not have believed it from Fox, CNN or any number of other so-called news sources.
And while it obviously and conveniently escaped you, I took-on both sides in my post. It's what independent moderates capable of original thought and balance tend to do.

There is a big difference between outright lies and a mistake. We will never hear liberal media apologize because the false information was intended to promote Obama. No one can know what was in the minds of terrorists. We do know Muslim extremists were having violent demonstrations in Egypt at the same time because of the video. That was what NSNBC reported. Do you know the motivation in the minds of the terrorists that attacked the Benghazi CIA house?

There are people trained and paid to know what the terrorists are thinking. You don't have to deal with it as you go to work, and then go home to sit on your couch, eat dinner, and watch Dancing With the Stars. But never think that there aren't people out there who are putting their own safety and life at risk to get inside a terrorist mind.
Your weak deflection aside, the fact remains, what was quoted, about Matthews, what he said was an outright LIE, he knew it was a lie, and there has never been an apology.
Name-calling and finger-pointing; the last bastions for the unintelligent, uneducated and/or fearful. Is that really what defines liberals/progressives? They certainly seem to do a lot of it. Sometimes it even makes the news on both sides of the political divide, and recently (Harry Reid). Pity!
Ideologues on either side of the aisle are equally ridiculous and nonsensical. They're usually those who let their political parties do their thinking for them because they're obviously incapable of doing so for themselves.

Just read ANY of the indoctrination lit regarding islam in ANY mosque, in EVERY school in the US and you'll find the outline of islam's jihad intentions for the world.
