the USA is approximately evenly divided between liberal and conservative. NBC, CBS, CNN, ABS, MSN, PBS are all liberal and Fox is the only conservative network....so the various liberal networks dilute their viewership while Fox owns the conservative viewers.

Christie is not president and not particularly favored by the network. Back during the low parts of TheDays of Bush, the viewing audience was routinely encouraged to support the president.

Fox is #1 because the majority of its non election time viewers are " mature" and spend a lot of time pining for their perception of the good old days, while talking back to the tv.

I once read that the reason for Fox's numbers is that the typical viewer leaves it on all day because they don't know how to use the remote and getting up requires too much energy.

MSNBC is covering the NSA right now. As for the othe non-spiracy stories covered on FOX...that's all they do...revive stories that have already been debunked. And this is good coverage in your world? Go figure. Do you actually believe that if this bridge closing escapade was perpetrated by a democrat, Fox would be ignring it as much as they are now?

Thank you for setting that straight, TheMoreYouKnow.

It's frightening when people think the media -- MSM or otherwise -- is "unbiased".

Media companies are run by people, and those people use them as outlets for their agenda, whatever that may be.

Period.

They're not a news source, they're an echo chamber.
The same as MSNBC who just promote the liberal agenda. I've tried to watch both and the footage I've seen is basically we'll have the other side on but we won't let them get the edge in and/or expose them for being idiots. CNN at least doesn't do that. That is why I like CNN, it has a mix and actually allows both sides EQUAL time and not one or two out of a five person panel is liberal or conservative...

If FAUX News "reigns supreme", it is simply evidence that the United States has the lowest intellect and awareness of any industrialized nation in the world. It is validation of the Dumbing Down of America.

The sad thing is the pride of the stupid people who watch that garbage. Pride in being clueless.

I love watching Fox News........with Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. They really should give Fox royalties because of the amount of material Fox gives them.

Harrier doesn't watch TV so he really can't offer an informed opinion of this topic - but he would think that the reason for this particular network's success is because it is fair, balanced, and entertaining.

If it weren't, then people wouldn't likely watch it - unless they were liberals.
