You have ignored the definition of "corporate fascism" which I have used continually. True, fascism is a form of autocracy and tyrannical government, but that's not all it is, since dictatorship also fits that description. According to its originator, fascism is a merger of government and corporate interests, and that is Fox' agenda - that's why I am correct in calling it fascism. Here it is. It's the Corporate State, Stupid
Now, just go down the list and say hello to Fox. Fascism Anyone?
This is Fox with its flag-waving jingoism, its phony flag lapel pins issue, its stands against gay and other rights, its "liberals" and others as scapegoats, its belligerent militarism constantly beating the war drums; its disdain for women's rights such as equal pay,; support for corporate control of media; belligerence on national security like military bases around the world, Homeland Security, war at the drop of a hat; catering to the "christian" right wing; corporate government; hatred of labor unions and the working poor; disdain for "intellectuals" and the arts; prisons-for-profit; pragmatic cronyism as the natural order.
Lastly, fraudulent elections: electoral dirty tricks such as voter suppression by registering people to vote then trashing democratic applications, last-minute voter i.d., fraudulent mailings to democratic households, automatically registering immigrants as republican, more.
It's all there. The entire list is Fox in a nutshell. BTW, we do have to fear government and keep an eye on it, but Fox certainly is working toward a corporate-controlled Congress which is loss of democracy. Just listen to them - one never criticizes a corporation.
Do you deny that we the public have lost control of Congress? Then who is it that has their ear?
Lol, you comparing network news, that everybody who has a tv has access to, to Fox news. Post=fail.
Only 7% of the US fully relies on antenna TV programming. So, between cable, satellite, and internet television services a VAST majority of television viewers in the US still choose networks over cable news channels.
Again, I don't get the point of the OP's News Max piece. They are bragging about a 3% year to year gain, while their overall viewership is down 30% and they couldn't get a viewer under the age of 60 even if they paid them to watch. Quite the accomplishment.

Again, did Fox News get caught attempting to limit free speech in the US? No. The administration did, but you are okay with it.
You're okay with fascism because it's in line with the agenda you agree with. Think about it.

Ya keep going with this "fascist liberal" crap. Check a dictionary why don't you. What is it about right-wingers and book lernin' - like oil and water. You prefer to snuggle up in the warm cozy cocoon of Fox corporate evangelism.
* Liberalism and fascism are polar opposites, so the question is, why don't you know this? Oh, yeah, Fox.
* Fascism is the marriage of corporate and government interests, so why don't you know this? Oh yeah, Fox.
* Fascism, which liberals hate, is anti-democracy so why don't you know this? OH yeah, Fox.
* Rule by wealth is plutocracy and wrong for America. So why don't you know this? Oh yeah, Fox.
* Corporate lobbyists now rule over our Congress, so why don't you know this? Oh yeah, Fox.
* Congressional republicans are blocking jobs bills. So why don't you know this? Oh yeah, Fox.
* Fox is in the business of promoting corporate government, so why don't you know this? Oh yeah, like a scam artist, Fox certainly won't tell you what it is up to.
OK just keep going with the Roger Ailes script. You proud of the fact that "news" from your media of choice is mainly the scripting of one man handed down to his minions? I would be ashamed. You really should open your eyes, check dictionaries, and recognize the corporate fascist agenda you support.
So here is what you hate:
* Liberal fascists want to "impose" racial and gender equality on individuals while conservatives might not want them to have it.
* Liberal fascists want to impose freedom of worship and separation of church and state while conservatives might want theocracy.
* LIberal fascists oppose slavery while conservatives might want to bring it back.
* Liberal fascists want a prosperous middle class while conservatives might want a desperate middle class.
* Liberal fascists want to impose democracy in America while conservatives might think plutocracy is better.
* Liberal fascists want to impose education for all citizens while conservatives may want education for the wealthy only.
* Liberal fascists want last-resort war for the nation's defense while conservatives might desire it for corporate profit.
* Liberal fascists believe that the government has a responsibility to all the people while conservatives believe government should respond to the wealthy "betters".
* Fascist liberals believe corporations should clean up their oil spills while conservatives believe that is "unfair".
* Fascist liberals want Wall Street malfeasance to be punished, while conservatives believe that would be "anti-business".
And there is plenty more. Ya see, "fascist liberals" want to "impose" all kinds of freedoms on people which you might not want them to have, and you feel this is an "imposition" on you. The RW definition of "freedom" - the "freedom" to deny other people's rights.
"Fascist liberals" also desire to have wealthy criminals held accountable while you may not. That's the RW beef with "liberal fascism" in a nutshell.
Ya keep going with this "fascist liberal" crap. Check a dictionary why don't you.
I don't need a dictionary to be able to see what's around me. The current crop of liberals in power are fascist who are looking to limit speech. They're pretty open about it.
They call you, on a landline phone (which most young people don't have), and tell you they'll give you 50 bucks if you'll fill out a TV diary of a weeks worth of viewing on every TV in the house.
Know how many young people I know that watch Fox News? few. Know how many young people I know that watch any cable news? few, but those that do are generally older, and watch Fox.
People like being told they are right, even when they are wrong. Fox does a lot of that, and calls it "opinion" which is not to be confused with news, but its on a news network.
