He has passed universal health care, invalidated Don't ask and don't tell, and appointed Justices Sotomayor and Kagan to the Supreme Court.

Quite an accomplishment.

Why do some people dislike him?

I have never seen anyone call Obama the greatest president ever, not even liberals but he's a decent guy for the most part. Personally, my favorite president (at least by his record) is Bill Clinton or at least the Clinton era seemed pretty prosperous. It could've been because of him or it could've just been the globe doing well, I don't know but he presided over a great era.

Btw; Obama hasn't passed Univeral Health Care.

Sotomayor is unqualified and shouldn't have been confirmed. Kagan was okay so far as I know about her. I mean I don't like Kagan because I don't share her politics but I don't have a problem with a liberal president nominating her. Sotomayor was just unsuitable.

10 reasons I dislike Obama:

1. Obama blames people for things to an embarrassingly excessive degree.
2. Obama attempts to govern through federal agencies and executive orders in an unconstitutional manner that is incompatible with the separation of powers.
3. Obama lies to an unacceptable degree. All politicians lie, but Obama is unacceptable in the frequent and blatant nature of his lies.
4. Obama is fiscally irresponsible.
5. Obama as president should seek to unite the nation and should not be divisive. Attacking the opposing party is one thing, but attacking the American people is not appropriate for a US President.
6. Obama shows a lack of respect for religious freedom.
7. Obama engages in too much crony capitalism.
8. Obama is too enamored with socialism. Note I did not say his transforming America into a socialist country, but I dislike my president having such close ties to socialist thought.
9. Obama is not effective in foreign affairs.
10. Obama puts is own political gain above the welfare of the nation.

If you're comparing Obama to our previous president, then I can see the contrast and why you think he's better. But he's hardly the best president and there's plenty before him who have proven much more worthy.

Agree on all counts.

Bill Clinton was a great LIAR..but Obama, he's not smart enough...and everyones out there LYING for him and how can he keep track of all that....HE WOULD do better just telling the truth...

He might pull off being called the Greatest President when it's all over....but that will not be his fault....financial pressures are going to push oil and gas exports from the U.S. to go up... that will help balance the trade imbalance because we are going to sell cheap gas to the world. If this happens Obama
will be called the greatest president..and we will all forgive him for being a plant by the protestants. A plot to beat back the Catholics and Mormons.

Because he has passed Obama care (anything BUT Universal Health Care (pay attention)), and because of the kooks and counter-culture, anti-American activists he has put into high offices, including on the Supreme Court, stand as the great divider, pitting groups of Americans against each, defined a new "normal" for an an economy that defines "normal" was what used to be referred to as a disaster. Put more people on Welfare, Food Stamps, Fraudulent Disability etc., etc., etc., for starters.
