Given that the .50 cal is like an AR, meaning it is generic and there are numerous people who make the generic model, who cares? That dinky company wasn't going to make a single sale to NYPD anyway so this is just cheap publicity to fool stupid people.

Mag fed, bolt action expands the number of companies even more. Single shot bolt action has a few more manufacturers. Finally, .50 cal AR-15 uppers the most common. But the number is still under 25 which is miniscule when you compare it to the number of companies making an AR-15.
