People are missing a potentially huge factor in all this. If prescribed medications are in part responsible for these people committing these crimes, the big drug manufacturerers may be staring down huge lawsuits and financial liabilities.

Bad guys don't like the idea of getting shot any more than a victim does. That's a fact and knowing that fact can save ones lives.

Bad guys know gun free zone are just fun galleries and they can shoot at will, feel power for once, and usually the last time too.

Then at the last instant these crazy wacked out off their meds break and figure out the last step they can take is to waste themselves and save the rest of us the trouble.

What i don't understand is you PC can't figure out this is the last act of someone who was screaming for help, but you never do.

These people get pushed off, fall thru the cracks and are lied to for all their miserable lives.

Lanza could have used a baseball bat but he was looking for "Shock and Awe' you PC people will never get it.

Why you will never get it, is you don't believe in personal responsibility, and that everything is someone else's fault.

Another thing you PC don't get it it makes no difference to add years to 6 life sentences, because your parole boards will coddle and pamper you ill spawn pets and play catch and release several times during their criminal career like the one i shot, a 6 time loser wanted for 6 more crimes before i shot him.

You PC are sick with grief that you will hurt someones "Feelings" where as I don't give a rats ass.

I wasn't born this hard i was forged by a sick society to be this hard. Don't forget i have shot down one of you sick pets, and i have suffered 2 murders in my family unit and that is plenty to make someone like me harder than nails.

I don't like everyone equally, until I decide to let them into my world.... That idea works just fine for me.

I understand how this works a hell of a lot better than any PC people who only fear hurting someone feelings....

Everything you PC do is fakery. from the moment you first wake in the morning until you sleep at the end of the day. All lies, and far removed from any sense of reality.

That may well be.... We are a drugged society, and want more drugs to escape reality as a constant. I would be better than 55% here are on some form of drugs to change their reality....

As a society we dope our kids. I did. i didn't want to but my 1st wife couldn't cope for chit and so because my son was a little hyper he was doped with ritalin. She was a boozer too always tanked on wine, plus seeing doctors all the time for anti depressants and all sorts of mothers little helpers so she could cope.

I was working 3 jobs at the same time and doing child care too, so I didn't have a whole lot of free time back then... All I knew was i worked and worked and worked until the day I was broken. Then I was thrown out of society....

But i understand how PC people get with their drugs and illusions of health. And yeah, if this ever gets to the point where Drug Companies are like bar tenders it's game over.

LOL... shows what you know...

Military bases are gun free zones. Issued weapons are restricted to security and the range, personal weapons are prohibited. See Regulation 90-114 implemented in 1993 by Bill Clinton.

I agree with you Mac! I carry everywhere! Post Office, schools, banks....everywhere unless there are metal detectors! And I will continue too. And not once has my firearm tried to escape & start shooting people.

maybe the next time you think a guy will rape you, you should tell him it's against the law.... That he shouldn't do it LOL Then see what happens....

Of course you will be morally superior, but you will have been raped.

I know if a father raper comes for me, I will put a bullet right dead between his eyes and not worry about being morally superior. And even if it happens in the Post Office!

Besides schools the PO is the only other silly place that has these stupid paper tiger laws. The laws were written so poorly that they had to change the laws time and again so other wise law abiding gun owners could drive by a school.

Epic Fail... The laws carry no weight.

The law in CT requires any person wishing to purchase a handgun to complete a pistol safety course and provide a safety course certificate in the permit application..

The NRA course is approved.

Connecticut law states:
Instructions to Applicants
The guidelines for obtaining both a local and state pistol permit are contained in C.G.S., sec. 29-28, 29-28a, and 28-29.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and be a legal resident of the United States. Persons convicted of a felony or any one of 11 misdemeanor offenses detailed in the statute are ineligible to receive a permit. Persons convicted as a delinquent for the commission of a serious juvenile offense (as defined in section 46b-120); persons discharged from custody within the preceding twenty years after having been found not guilty of a crime by reason of mental disease or defect (pursuant to section 53a-13); persons confined in a hospital for persons with psychiatric disabilities (as defined in section 17a-495), within the preceding 12 months by order of a probate court; persons subject to a restraining or protective order issued by a court in a case involving the use, attempted use or threatened use of physical force against another person; persons subject to a firearms seizure order issued pursuant to C.G.S. 29-38c after notice and hearing; and any person who is an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United States, are prohibited from obtaining a pistol permit.

The cost for obtaining a pistol permit is $70.00. The permit is good for a period of five years. The application paperwork may be obtained from a local police department, city or town hall or first selectman's office in the case of a local permit, or any state police barracks in the case of a state pistol permit.

You are required to complete a handgun safety course, which must consist of no less than the NRA's "Basic Pistol Course," prior to submitting the application."
Therefore, anyone must complete the course, receive the certificate and present the certificate to apply for the permit that would allow them to purchase a handgun in CT and/or posses it outside the home - transport to range (not good for concealed carry).

It's a good bet that every handgun owner in CT has the same NRA certificate spoken of in the evidence list from the Lanza home.
