Flynn was wanted for the October 12, 1991 murder of 44 year old New York City assistant district attorney Robert Wood(originally of New Hampshire) in which Flynn pistol whipped, bound and tortured Wood before injecting him with an unknown substance which he later died from. Homeland Security and HAZMAT were called in soon after EMT and police first responders fell ill, broke out in rash and reported shortness of breath from just touching the lifeless Wood's body. Flynn was indicted in 1989 by Wood's for an elaborate pension scheme in which he defrauded the city and state of New York of nearly 200,000 US dollars, he was again indicted by Wood's for transporting firearms and narcotics across state lines to New Jersey in early 1991. Flynn was regarded to be a "ticking time-bomb" by family and friends.
Flynn was immediately considered an extremely dangerous fugitive and was added to the FBI ten most wanted list just a week later. Flynn had been addicted to cocaine since he was 17 and was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, Flynn was raised in the middle class white Catholic neighborhood of Morris Park in The Bronx NY in the 1960s and 1970s, Flynn dropped out of high school in 1977 despite testing near genius level on IQ tests. Flynn spent the majority of his childhood in trouble and was described as socially inept, aloof and hot tempered. He was thought to be easily identifiable out of state due to his deep voice and New York accent. Then FBI spokesman David Roy described Flynn as being of Irish American ancestry, standing over 6 feet 3 inches with a lean muscular build, slicked back dark brown hair, golden brown eyes, with an average white complexion but frequented tanning salons. The one-time model was considered "very good looking, intelligent, manipulative, street smart and heartless with several personalities and aliases", concluding by calling Flynn "the most dangerous fugitive on the list who is in possession of an unknown and lethal chemical substance". The FBI offered a 550k monetary reward for information leading to the direct apprehension of Flynn.
During his troubled childhood, Flynn spent time in juvenile hall and boot camps, his father was an alcoholic who would frequently beat his only son, despite this Flynn remained militantly protective of his father throughout his life. FBI behavioral analysts described Flynn as having a severe inferiority complex with little self worth, likely stemming back to his childhood. This type of criminal was classified as incredibly dangerous, as many feel the need to prove themselves to society.
On May 13 of 2001, the now 40 year old Flynn was located in an apartment complex in San Diego, California. A standoff ensued in which Flynn took a female teenage hostage, during the standoff Flynn was verbally abusive towards negotiators and agents, just over ten minutes into the standoff, the teenage hostage broke away from Flynn who then pointed his German Luger pistol at agents who immediately shot and killed the subject. He wasn't a terrorist and killed one person. Flynn was no punk, he didn't kill innocent people. I was born in 73 and raised in NYC and remember this story well. If you are honestly comparing Flynn to Islamic terrorists flying planes full of passengers into two world landmarks which made the NYC skyline and killing thousands of innocent office workers and the blue collar heroes who were attempting to rescue them, you really are deluded.
The DA's in this corrupt Liberal city are all sociopaths themselves, sentencing innocents to life behind bars, one sociopath screwed with a bigger one. I don't even understand how this crime is even mentioned alongside 9/11/01?
It was far from 200k, maybe 20k. The FBI loves to dramatize this stuff. Why didn't they go after the gordon gecko wannabe types(those who were out to lunch on 9/11/01, like the female CEO who "reassured" stockholders that "ONLY CLERKS" perished in the attacks on 9/11/01"). Why are so many CEOs major donors of both sides, Madoff contributed millions to Obama.
I would say Flynn was less of a sociopath than many top dogs in the government.

Because he was not a terrorist. It's kind of funny how people believe these guys are true to their parties, a Liberal government dude is not a Liberal, these people go under whatever affiliation they will get the most votes, donors, money, publicity with. You really believe most of these government officials see you as people? Look at how Obama orders drone strikes over seas, killing YOUR people. Politics is a big lie, the founding fathers knew this, which is why small government is what they advocated for.
