Islamism's ideological aim is secular, ie political power. Yet, despite its secular ends, it makes its political base among a large swath of religious Muslims. With their religious supremacism - which convinces them that everyone else's life would be better off if they adopted the same values as them - these Muslims leave themselves wide open to be preyed upon by savvy propagandists. Thus, hateful tricks like invoking the dangers of homosexuality, attacking sexual liberation, demonising religious minorities and foreign cultures, and censoring anything that smacks of critical thinking, are all used to keep the ideological base stirring.

A) Sodomy in their country is illegal and punishable by death.

They support Muslims except when they do something like this. Then when they do, instead of condemning Islam they twist it and say Christianity (their true enemies) is just as terrible if not worse.

I define leftist governments as big and powerful entities that rule, or try to, every aspect of her denizens lives.
And righties as people that support a small central government.
You can label NAZI Germany anything you want but it was clearly a large, powerful government, which would make it leftist.
If you read articles from the late 1930 and early 1940s by Europeans you will see they defined Germany as leftist also.
