His plan to help reverse engineer the brain will most likely go down as his best accomplishment.

"There's this enormous mystery, awaiting to be unlocked," Obama said during remarks at the White House. The initial cost: $100 million in Obama's fiscal year 2014 budget to be proposed next week; Congress must approve the sum.

This is worth it. It should be completed between 2019 and 2023 and the advancements in AI alone will give us back way more then we spend.
