Here's another whopper.........

"If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your health-care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health-care plan, period."

democrats don't mind, or mind nearly as much, fulfilling their civic responsibilities when it comes to the commons; like paying taxes, filling out foms etc...

the republican party has made its name and basically stands for not wanting to aid the 'collective'. you all seem to be far more concerned with your own family, community, church etc...

Well this is coming together rather nicely....

The Fed warning that they don't have enough time or money to put together the state exchanges
The Fed putting off until 2015 the small business choice exchange
The Fed not getting data centralized to qualify people and now requiring a 60+ page form of information not readily available to people

5 months to go....

You got your Obamacare and that's all that matters..right ?
The law was passed and holding these people accountable for making sure it would work is not important.

you act as if the old system was working

sorry but it was not! being from TX, you should know that more than most!

No one is crying about the "old system" but you.
Obamacare got passed and it's not going away.

Why not deal with it rather than think it's still 2009 and Congress hasn't passed it yet.

thats because certain red states are not cooperating, such as TX with your govenor not even wanting to accept additional Medicaid funding because of his refleixe partisan politics.

TX has the worst rate of uninsured in the country; shame on him...

don't try and place all of the numerous problems we've had with healthcare in this country on a law thats barely 3 years old and has not even been fully implemented yet!

I see your game...

Not taking on the expanded medicaid has nothing to do with a 60+ page form.
Not taking on the expanded medicaid has nothing to do with HHS having problems setting up exchanges for nearly 30 states.

TX has a rather large number of undocumented Americans so the comparison to the northern states is unfair.
TX has 3 of the poorest counties in the US. They are near the border and strong Dem counties going back decades.

The problem is that even if not implemented people will be mandated to get something not available to them and if they can't get it they pay a penalty.

So nice that the Dems are punishing the very people they were supposed to help.

And I'm not addressing "healthcare" at all but the Obamacare health INSURANCE policies that are not in place.

The "collective" is full of leeches and vagrants who don't pay their "fair share". Your damn right I'm more concerned about my own family. That is who I take care of. Maybe if everybody else had that same attitude we wouldn't need a "collective" to begin with. You pay fore em. Let em live in your basement and infest your world.

You are correct. The mess is just only beginning............

"People are finding it increasingly difficult to do what the president promised. According to the California health-care-consulting firm HealthPocket, in a study of more than 11,000 plans on the individual market released this month, less than 2 percent of existing plans are in compliance with the law’s benefit requirements. While current plans are technically grandfathered in, allowing people to keep them for now, any change in the plans requires that their coverage be brought into full compliance, even if that means more expensive plans that include new and unnecessary benefits. Moreover, because non-compliant plans cannot enroll new members, most of the existing plans will eventually disappear, requiring even those members who have been grandfathered in to switch plans eventually.

The same applies to many business plans, especially for employers in the “small group” market. In a survey of small businesses, the National Federation of Independent Business found that 12 percent of companies have already been notified that their current coverage will be canceled or will not be renewed because it doesn’t meet Obamacare requirements. At the same time, the CBO has raised, from 4 million Americans to 7 million, its estimate of the number of workers who will be dumped from their employers’ health plans and forced into the exchanges.
