These labor unions fight for workers rights and they care more about workers than anyone, period. They have given us so much over the years to be grateful.

It is time Conservatives unite with Liberals, Liberals that are already behind Labor Unions and support the workers.

Stand with Jimmy Hoffa Junior.

Stand with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Stand with Joseph Hansen.

Stand with United Food and Commercial Workers International Union.

Stand with Donald “D.” Taylor.

Stand with Unite Here.

And Fight Obamacare as it damages workers hours and taxes Cadillac plans unfairly.

But now, unions are waking up to the fact that Obamacare is heavily disruptive to the health benefits of their members.

So did the IRS get a waiver from being forced on Obamacare?

Why should I stand with the morons that helped the current disaster in chief get elected? Why should I stand with the greedy pigs that helped bankrupt Detroit and many other cities?
Remember, they were for it before they were against it and the only reason they changed their minds is they realized they were not going to get a waiver from their "buddy" so it would affect them as well as the rest of us mere mortals.

LOL..those unions have to pay the cadillac tax of 40%.
They got a reprieve of a few years.
Obamacare goes live and they are on the hook to dip into their union dues to pay that 40% tax.

That date for when the Cadillac tax takes effect was going to be 2016, ended up as 2018...whose to say that the next "Legislating President" couldn't unilaterally push that back further by merely announcing it via an obscure blog before a holiday weekend?

I'll support lazy, thug, union racketeers when we can get a straight up-and down vote on whether we want to be open-shop or not. Union leadership is no different than communism or radical islam. We are forced to give but get nothing in return--our "leadership" is fat and lives large. Lets see, why did our dues get raised this last time ? Oh yeah, the girlfriends of our locals leadership wanted to have a weekend in 'Vegas under the guise of another "conference" . . . Sounds reasonable to me

Heh heh heh... Strange bedfellows, non?

Look, in order to cover as many people as possible, EVERYONE'S costs will go up. But, the hell of it is, costs are and will be SKYROCKETING anyway, with or without Obamacare. The uninsured, elective or otherwise, are going to bankrupt us all. And that is setting aside the MORAL argument of letting the poor die for lack of health care (I know THAT one is wasted on conservatives...)

Until we get a sane single-payer system, that's just how it is. Union members (including me) have to chip in too.

Well the unions stood right next to Obama, Pelosi and Reid and lauded Obamacare.
It was the next best thing to sliced bread.

Now it will hurt workers ?
Sorry..it will hurt UNION workers who have pretty good health plans and coverage and have to pay 40% excise tax that will go to fund subsidies for those that can't afford health insurance.

But the unions won't tell you that will they.
Once Obamacare goes live it will never get killed and they will be on the hook for a high tax.
They can't get Congress to make any changes to benefit them beyond the push off for a few years.

Their only way out is to get this killed before 10/1/2014.

Because there is no guarantee that unions will have any sway with Congress or the President in the future.
They have sway now and they have to play their card and not take a chance at having to pay that tax.

IMHO 40% is rather high but it was sold to the American public as being a tax on those greedy CEOs that had better plans than everyone else in America.

Turns out it was also their fellow workers that belong to unions.....

Not a single Republican in the House OR the Senate voted for ObamaCare - the Republicans were the only entity that were "standing" with those who did not want to be damaged by this Law.

Looks like Unions have finally woken up - they could have & should have, stood against ObamaCare WITH the Conservatives that said from the very beginning that ObamaCare was a bad Law. I never did understand why Union Leadership was so in favor of ObamaCare - perhaps Union membership should try to figure that out.

The Conservatives and Republicans are still attempting to fight ObamaCare - Unions and Liberals should join those who have consistently led this battle instead of a 'Special deal' for a few chosen Elites for IRS workers, Capitol Hill workers and all Union workers.

Another "Special Deal" is not the answer.
