Everyone agrees with this in some way whether they like admitting it or not. We all have an impact on our community and our community has an impact on us. We can't raise kids in a vacuum either. You may not like how she said this (I'm not even sure what the context is since it's just a snippet) but this kind of thing:

doesn't offer much rebuttal.

Narrating a new MSNBC "Lean Forward" spot, the Tulane professor laments that we in America "haven't had a very collective notion that these are our children." "[W]e have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to their communities," Harris-Perry argued.
Of course, once they've taken away your protection through gun legislation, you won't have a choice when they come for your kids.

Ask Elion Gonzales.

It's like parental rights but the only washing the community organizers will do is brain washing.

No, but it's apropos in context of the thread, because that's what the thread's about. Just because you didn't say it doesn't mean it's not relevant. I'm not having a private conversation with you. You asked who mention Maoist and I told you.

So what re the church post? I mentioned it before you posted, hence me saying I'd already mentioned it. Jeez, a tad touchy ain't ya?

She's saying this because of a few things.

For starters, she's black. Her number one priority as a black woman is to better black people over all others. There are many leftist organizations who speak constantly about the betterment of their community and their community alone. One such website is Black Agenda Report. There is a sound clip of an interview on that website where a black speaker openly admits to being a communist. The story was posted a few weeks ago but I've been trying to dig up that piece again to show people but I don't remember which one. It's on there though.

There is a problem with black america where over 73% of black children are born out of wedlock. And these kids are being raised by single parents who often do not make much money. Many times these adults are living on welfare and are laying up in bed all day having sex with the equally irresponsible, Tyrone. As a result of this irresponsible un-disciplined behaviour, children are growing up without guidance and are dropping out of school at record high levels and joining gangs, and many times these children or adolescents are killed in gang related incidents (see chicago.)

Being that's she's a progressive (code for communist), she understands that the way to fix these issues is to use a collectivist, big government, pro-statist argument of "Since we as black people are failing our children and are grossly irresponsible, I feel like whites, hispanics and asians should help us raise our(black) children so that they can have the same standard of parenting that they show for their children. It's not fair that other groups of people are capable of being good parents, and we want in on their parenting skills. So, I hearby declare that all children belong to the state, and it's EVERYONES responsbility to raise kids. Your kids do not belong to you, or themselves, they belong to all of us. Including the state. Because this is the only way to better black kids."

Selfish-ness in other words. She expects all of us to take responsibility for the poor decisions of black americans.

I have a better idea Melissa. How about we do everyone a favor and escort african americans to the island of haiti and leave them there. That will solve alot of Americas problems, and we (whites, asians and hispanics) will be alot better off without you and your communisitic, collectivist, irresponsible selves. Or perhaps a serious effort should be made to provide black americans with free contraceptives and/or sterilization procedures.

Blacks are a threat not only to the constitution and the people who live here, but to national secuirty as well. These people have one goal and one goal only in mind: To better themselves at the expense of others.

Black americans are a threat to us all.
