For example the gun issue and abortion. You guys have NO SENSE when it comes to these issues because you guys are so delirious about it it's impossible to reason with you guys. That's dangerous.
This just shows how partisan-blind you are, especially considering you lump me in with "demos/libs." FYI: I'm a libertarian, and fully support your right to own guns. And you don't think conservatives are impossible to reason with on certain topics, like anything related to gay marriage or rights? Okaaaay.

So basically, I rest my case - and thank you for helping me to prove it!

As do conservatives.

Am I seriously the ONLY person here who recognizes these issues & generalizations can be applied equally to both sides? I wish more people would abandon the two major parties, then you might be able to see without blinders too. Wishful thinking, I know.

I'm libertarian as well and have voted independent all three of the last presidential elections. I was a HUGE Ron Paul supporter in '08 actually when I was still in college.

It's just the was you came at me and the "tone" of your former post that made it seem you were a lib or were asking me about libs.

And don't start me on neocons! I'm an isolationist independent that finds plenty of what they do repugnant.

When did I say that? And when did you get reinstated?

For the last time (as I've told you this many times before), I am basically a left-leaning Libertarian. But my views on specific issues are all over the map, so I probably agree with the right on almost as many issues as I do the left. Why are you so hell-bent on putting everyone into a neat little box? Can't some of us just be free thinkers?

See my above post for more on my leanings... and I didn't mean to "come at you" any way except as a Devil's advocate. By defending the position that we ALL argue with emotions sometimes, I don't see how that makes me come across as taking sides.

Oh, and I was a Ron Paul supporter too for a time - also really liked Johnson in the last election, but sadly knew he didn't stand a chance of winning. To summarize, I think any extreme partisanship is repugnant (as I take it you do too).

Oh, and sorry for being so snarky... it was the whole tone of this thread that made me testy.

(I actually reported this thread & its counterpart as trolling, but the mods either disagree or haven't seen the reports yet)

And it's posts like this that would make anyone who isn't a blind neocon snarky! Funny how each side thinks and says exactly the same thing about the other side, but somehow manages to put on the sunglasses whenever it's directed at them. And by funny, I mean pathetic and sad. What has this country come to, that we are so polarized? Time to abolish the two-party system, IMO.

I voted for Johnson last year. Didn't matter to me it "didn't count" since my principals are very important to me.
