It is an act of aggression and contempt - not to mention an utter act of dominance.
Really? Sodomy? An act of dominance? Really? Conjuring up prison rape? This sort of act is actually committed by heterosexual men against others in prison. Sodomy? An archaic word, used in this case punitively to manipulate and contort in a desperate attempt to attack gay men. Does this also insinuate all homosexual men engage in this? What about lesbians? They can't really do this act, now can they? But, then it seems to be the "men," homophobes are most concerned with.

Your lack of understanding of sexual orientation is mind blowing. But while we're at it, can we also consider another word substitution, similar to your use of the archaic word sodomy? Perhaps, something a bit more familiar and perhaps more appropriate, instead of heterosexual sex, can we use rape? For now, lets put aside the actual number of violent rapes that occur against women, and only consider so-called consensual sex. After all, consider how many times a woman is manipulated or coerced into sex by men, or given alcohol or drugs to affect her better judgement. Heterosexual sex is quite often an imbalance; do you really think a woman has the same sex drive as a man? How much dignity do you think it takes for the average heterosexual man to "use" a woman for sex? Often, carelessly putting her at risk of pregnancy, with no regard for a human life? Consider the financial strain on subsidy programs due to all the unplanned pregnancies. Even, the planned ones, where people do not have the appropriate income to support a child comfortably while growing up. Consider the institution of abortion; a bi-product of straight sex. Your heterosexual superiority complex falls flat.
