So if a baby died within hours of birth you want to kill it now. I could not live with myself and I think most feel they killed the baby instead of letting nature take it's course. Ripping the baby apart during the abortion would be a more painful death anyway.
What if the fetus dies in the womb? Does it have to remain there until nature makes it come out, assuming it does?

Saddam's mother was very close to having an abortion. Sadly a pro-life family talked her out of it.

Saddam did not form the Ba'ath Party. There would have been some other evil bastard.

Every year, thousands of children age out of the system into poverty, homelessness, and crime that they are unlikely to escape due to their lack of structure, coping skills, or support system.

What are the pro-life doing about THAT?
Well, pro life people act like unwanted pregnancies are their business and their problem. But would say hell no to any request to pay for abortions, such as through their tax dollars. So I'm not surprised if so few pro life people want to help the born with their problems.

Who knows. In hindsight though, I don't think Saddam having an early run in with a coat hanger would have been all that much of a tragedy.

On a more pragmatic note abortion certainly reduces per capita the number of future welfare bums and criminals.

Yeah. I was actually reading something a while ago about that. There was a huge crime epidemic starting in the 1970s and burgeoning into the 1980s, people thought the 1990s were going to be the worst decade ever, but crime dropped significantly. The reason, in part according to the Donahue Levitt study was that 1992 was the first year that children born after Roe v Wade would enter their peak criminal years and crime just dropped off. Furthermore this drop off occurred earlier in the states of Alaska, Hawaii, New York, and Washington which legalized abortion before Roe.

The evidence they found suggests that future criminals were among the most likely to be aborted.

Yet many pro-lifers are against the morning after pill because they claim it is a form abortion.

Explain that please.

Very telling, isn't it?

That poster is offended by just having to look at it......yet he expects a mother to give birth to it and hold it and cuddle it while it dies in her arms. How hypocritical.....how PATHETIC.
