Let's see what happened in the previous 35 minutes before this incident. My guess is that the black guy was being a real pain in the butt and the driver had just about enough of it.

Besides, aren't you supposed to be SITTING down when the bus is in motion? I guess he wasn't so cool once the driver smacked him sensless.

My first gut reaction, before watching the vid, was maybe the dude had it coming... but seeing the vid, he didn't seem like he was doing anything that would warrant an azz whipping like that. I'm a little surprised the dude was able to walk away after getting served up like that.

That driver needs to serious anger management classes and some jail time, if you ask me...... friggin thug.....

Wow,you seem toc ome up with stuff out of the blue..
it doesn't seem the black guy did anything but ask a question. That's it.
Or are you just saying it because you believe blacks start trouble?

I'm pretty sure if it was real fight that bus driver would have gotten his ass beat.

I live near Lincoln. I couldn't find a print article that says this, but according to our local news the guy really was just asking questions according to the tape on the bus, and for some crazy reason the driver completely freaked out about it and snapped. It's even weirder because stuff like this doesn't happen around here. Lincoln is a college town (University of Nebraska at Lincoln, 2 private liberal arts colleges and a big community college) full of students, so most of the city personnel are really patient and good with young people because the city is packed with them. This was completely out of left field and just... bizarre.

The full video is available - it's in the story the original links to. The man was not apparently causing any trouble. Certainly nothing to warrant being beaten, dragged off the bus, and left in the street. Not proper procedure in any case.

It was raining outside.

It could be that the two were in it together, though.

For the legal prize.

Like, teaming up on a lottery ticket.

There was a video a while back of a black dude whooping the **** out of a black girl who wanted to act like a man. I don't tolerate violence against women, but she kind of had that one coming.

This was completely unjustified.

I dunno; doesn't make sense to me. It's not impossible, of course, but I just can't see it. They haven't even identified the victim.
