I was offended and appalled today, when I, with my wife and two young kids in tow, walked past what was presumably a lesbian wearing a shirt which displayed to the world her love of female genitalia.

Why do gay people feel the need to constantly push their agenda in public? I just think its wrong.

Whether it is a lesbian, a gay man or a heterosexual individual - displaying sexually explicit (vulgar) messages or art in public is not appropriate - your rights end where mine begin and I have a right to share the public space without being inundated in pornography and pornographic art or literature.

So did the incident make you hate homosexuals even more? If it was a young man with a similar shirt, you probably wouldn't have bothered starting a thread on that, perhaps waiting further to find an excuse to express offense against homosexuals for your very first thread.

I'm not gay, and I am a vagaterian, and would proudly wear that shirt.

Riiiiight... because straight people (particularly men) NEVER display overt sexuality or sexually-charged images/words in public. Never.

I'm guessing you didn't need any flames added to this fire, no pun intended.

Actually, you do NOT have that right. There are some laws regarding indecency, but what you're talking about here is censorship - and no individual has ever (AFAIK) had the right to censor "offensive" images or words in public. And I work for a public library, so this is one issue I know VERY well... too well, in fact, considering how I'm constantly having to defend things even I don't like seeing.

Yea...I have seen a LOT of shirts, hats, etc, of a similar nature. Manners of dress, hair styles, tattoos, anx just general demeanor that made me cringe. Even had one..gal?...get in my face, because she liked my wife. That one almost set me ofc, but then, something just struck me funny, and I couldn't quit laughing. Overall though, some can way overdo it. No doubt ...(sigh)

I've seen that tshirt, it made me lol. I can see it being bad for young kids to see and to have to explain it to them but to make it a gay issue is a stretch ....
