People gathered throughout the country protesting our government's illegal and immoral use of drones.
I took part in protests this weekend at the CIA Headquarters and the White House with a die in at the offices of the makers of the Predator Drone.

They tried to shut us down several times but we did have permits

And at the CIA Headquarters

We do get along well with the local police, they appreciate the extra overtime pay for Saturdays when we are at the CIA.
Saturday marked a half a year we been doing this every month.

This young lady has been there for 5 of the 6 months.

Good for you Ted, drawing unwanted attention to this injustice.
I read somewhere that if we want to stop gun trafficking, arrest Eric Holder. I liked that.
I think it's 46 of the Gitmo detainees have been ruled to be released by a court, but 11-12 years later, they remain imprisoned. Out of sight, out of mind.
I am happy to see Code Pink again, they've been relatively silent during this administration.

What is the main opposition to drones?

Would it be better if their applications were performed by human piloted aircraft?

Yeah, this was largely unreported too, while you're on the topic of

THAT IS THE TOPIC? RIGHT?

NRA 500 Suicide: Man Shoots Himself To Death At NASCAR Race

April 14 (Reuters) - A Texas man used a gun to commit suicide in the infield of a National Rifle Association-sponsored NASCAR race at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth late on Saturday, local authorities said.

Now why would you go and do that? The thread is about the use of predator drones. People have the right to protest their use. Just because it is happening in "another country" means we should not care?
If you agree with the use of drones without any reason except for the White House says its okay, fine, state such.
But to come on this thread and try to change the subject to gun control is your agenda.
Please give us your opinion on, say,. Code Pink. Are you glad to see them be less partisan, or is it too much that they demonstrate this administration and not just the last one?

Yeah, it looks like they had at least 100-200 protestors!

5 years ago it would have been many tens of thousands or more.

It's not code pinks fault all the partisan bandwagoners abandoned them after the 2008 election....and then an inability to continue the criticism when Obama chose to act like Bush 2.0

Translation: I don't want to talk about the uncomfortable truth of Obama continuing in the footsteps of Bush and Cheney.....even though he has.

Now let's forget about all those wars and guantanamo etc....no need to drudge up all that garbage....it's racist to even mention it.
