When I happened to tune into Michael Savage last night, he made a good point. He asked I wonder how long it will take the liberal media to say it was a white male with a crew cut that did it. Sure enough, it only took a few hours for MSNBC to subtly hint that they think it was a white male with a crew cut that is the perpetrator.
I dont care who it is. No one should care who it is, but care that we find out who it is and deal with them. The media and the left WANT it to be from the right and white. They are praying for that. What better way to be able to use this attack to push their agenda? They would see it as a blessing for them. They are sick people.
If Matthews or anyone else is paid to express opinions and guess who's responsible for this, what the heck, his predictable guess is as worthwhile or worthless as other commentators.
Chris Matthews: Did Boston Bombing Have Anything To Do With Tax Day?
His question was one asked on just about every network I listened to last night - maybe 5 or 6. Commentators/reporters were, soon after the bombings, specuating out loud what the motivation might have been. They covered the gamut from international terrorism, domestic terrorism, tax day protests, white supremacist groups, etc., etc. All of the 'talking heads' engage in these types of discussions, with various "experts." Those types of discussions help to inform the public and whittle down the possibilities. Since nobody here has the inside information regarding who did it I'm not about to criticize Matthews, or the Fox News people who were asking the same thing.
I didn't hear Fox say or even insinuate that it was left wing liberal but this is a quote from Chris Matthews
“Let me ask you about domestic terrorism as a category. Normally, domestic terrorists, people tend to be on the far right, well that’s not a good category, just extremists, let’s call them that. Do they advertise after they do something like this? Do they try to get credit as a group or do they just hate America so much or its politics or its government that they just want to do the damage, they don’t care if they get public credit, if you will?”
Notice how he says "they don't advertise" and "they don't care if they get public credit".
He is out of hand and the real extremist. Neither left or right would condone or support anyone who does this. Either way, he is trying to set it up as the right. Sad, really sad.
Well, when you take a hate group like the Tea Party, combine it with tax day and the historic significance of Boston, it does seem plausible that rightwing extremists might be responsible.
