we are at a low for the satalite era, despite added ACE numbers due to technology advancement that allows counting smaller more remote storms than they were able to do 10/15/20/30 years ago?
ButButButBut we keep being told by Hansen and others that hurricanes are getting more frequient and more powerful... only that is a LIE and we know it because the hard numbers do not lie....
If you guys are so right, why are you telling us these storms are getting worse, and the CAGW is causing it, when the actual, hard numbers (read the real SCIENCE) says the opposite?
I was referring to your statement "Haven't had any since". Of course we have. Hurricane Sandy, for instance, which was anything but small. And there have been plenty in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The Atlantic isn't the only large body of water on the planet, dude.
So what? This is not news. If you understood anything about the scientific process, you would understand that nothing is static. He was wrong about one thing. So what? His graph, above, is consistent with what others have found, and with the temperature data. Did he predict that global temperatures would moderate slightly over the last 8 years? No. But then, neither did anyone else, including climate deniers (who, by the way, have yet to produce a single page of original data). Does this issue refute global warming? No.
It does refute the arguments that those earlier predictions were reason for countries to spend trillions of dollars to combat what ended up happening on it's own.
Look, I do not care what you believe. Just don't ask me to finance it for you.

Your own comments support what most of have been saying; Predicting climate is an extremely inaccurate activity and has proven to be useless. The complexity of our earth is way beyond the mental capacity of scientists to model or even understand. There is always another "gotcha" around the corner.
