Really?

That husky notwithstanding, just how exactly would those pets recite their vows or sign the marriage license?

First they start on gays, next it will be widows and widowers, deployed soldiers...

The bigotry knows no bounds.

Well that has been the case in the past. When a father married off his young daughter to the highest bidder, domesticated animals were part of the deal...so in a sense, the animals were being married off no different than the child.

No. You have crosses to bear. That's your choice to follow that religion. Don't ever presume that your choice applies to anyone other than yourself. Don't ever presume that your choice affects someone else's body, someone else's home, someone else's family, or someone else's worship. There is no greater hubris than placing yourself as god over others, as you have. Even according to your own religion you've committed a great sin.
^^This.

But the polygamy issue isn't something to sweep under the rug. You can pretty well bet, if same sex marriage becomes a law, the polygamy issue will not be far behind.
IMHO. I can't see why its any business of the govt as to how many wives someone has..if he's tough enough to listen to nagging in stereo or quadraphonics,so be it is my take on it.

Haha, that's basically what Mark Twain said in Roughing It, when he's writing about Utah.

Make that "some fundamentalist Mormon offshoot communities." (Provided your intent is accuracy. )

In many cases, the first wife does not give her consent to such an arrangement. That's one issue.
