Can someone please show me where abortion is constitutional? (drugs, attorney, suspected)

Would be nice if control would mean not getting pregnant but after getting pregnant then there is another person to think about. They skipped over that part.
Yeah, that would be nice... no doubt about it. It would be even nicer if we as a society actually provided all the support needed for single women - paid maternity leave, on quality on site day care, etc - so that abortion would seem to be the most viable option. Of course then the right couldn't complain about unwed single mothers stealing from taxpayers.
Weird, the right doesn't want sex education in the schools, doesn't want free and open access to birth control, doesn't want abortions but then doesn't want to pay for the care and support of the children that are born to single mothers as if somehow for the first time in the history of mankind they are going to find someway to eradicate human sexuality. Now if that isn't living in some bizzarro alternative universe I don't know what the frack is.

Since when does another "person" have the right to use someones body for their own survival?
Can I use your kidneys to filter waste for my body?
Can I use your blood to provide nutrients?
Can I use your stomach to digest food for me?
Can I take calcium from your teeth and bones to build my own?
I just don't understand how liberals can say that it is the women's decision as to whether or not she has the child, but once she does it is my responsibility to raise it. Since, ya know, children belong to the community and not their parents.
Not to mention their extreme dislike for the death penalty.

I'm liberal. Pro choice, pro death penalty, pro gun, and think that the welfare system needs a major overhaul.

Sorry to bust your fantasy about "liberals".
So which topics do you actually have liberal stances on? Or do you just say you're liberal because you don't like the way conservatives are viewed in today's society?

Most social issues I'm liberal. Most financial issues I'm conservative.
Most posters here call me a liberal, but I'm really independent.
Both parties are messed up, but the R's more than the D's.
It may be legal....it doesn't mean that it's constitutional.
Rights held by the "People" prior to the Constitutions were seen as "not needed to be affirmed" in the Constitution. As you remember the "Bill of rights"...the first 10 amendments were added to the US cosntitution at the time of signing.
The right of Commerce between individuals was not added to the Constitution because it was an accepted practice. As was the right to defend oneself, one's family, and property. The right to self defense was a right held by the people prior to the signing. Abortion had been preform by women for eons, the practice was not seen as a function of the Federal Government.
That historical acceptance held true untill the late 1800's in the US. Abortions were legal in many states in the US. Some states...like Texas, were making legal and safe Abortions less and less availible to women.
The case of Roe v. Wade went before the US Supreme court in 1971. The rest is history.
