People are born with a free will and choose different paths . Some choose to have a different sex life which could include deviant behavior.
Everyone can become what they choose and then by their practices they come to believe what they do. Anyone can smoke if they put a cigarette to their mouth and puff on it. And if they choose to keep smoking it becomes a habit. Those who choose to go into acts of sexual behavior do so with a choice.
Wrong. People are born gay, straight or bi. People don't have a choice. I don't have a choice. I was born heterosexual, and even if someone held a gun against my head, I cannot change that.
Tell me, can you change what you are? If you can, let me know, you'd be the first I hear about.
There is no slippery slope to legalizing consensual activities between adults to allowing adults to victimize non-consenting minors (who cannot, by definition, consent).
(I'll give you a hint, since you're apparently too stupid to understand it: the fact that someone is born a certain way does not mean that we allow them to victimize others. This is why we do not excuse crimes committed by psychopaths, who may be born that way. You really should think through the implications of what you think passes for 'logic'. It's probably the whole thinking thing you have a problem with, I suppose. Consensual sex between adults, gay or straight, is not victimization. Which is why comparing it to pedophilia is moronic.)

This is my sentiments exactly, the OP is logically lacking in their arguments. I especially like the point about psychopaths, we don't tolerate them committing crimes even if they were born way more that way. Sometimes people don't reason out their arguments.
So gay equals forty year olds having sex with five year olds? Are you sure you don't want to think this through a tad better then repost maybe?
Some of you may have gotten the impression that I do not respect the gay community. Well I don't - That is my right. It maybe from what I observed when I was a young man. I have seen older gay men victimize and use young males who were of the age of consent but were no older than 15 and 16...Older gay males that simply liked to take advantage of homeless runaway teenagers. This was common back in the day. Now with a standard of behavior has improved...but - if they could and it was not politically incorrect - many gay men would abuse young people. So where is the cut of as far as age of participants in gay activity...Is it 13 - is it 18 years of age?
Just as not to offend...I am not saying all gay men are guilty of usery but they do exist.
Next thing - there will a civil rights issue for those wanting to have sex w/ kids.
Gawker's Soft Peddling Pedophilia
Throughout the piece passive language like this soft peddles child rape. Constantly were are told that sex between adults and children as a "choice." Even "Terry" claims that the sex he had with his seven-year-old niece was consensual and Gawker simply takes his word for it without protest.
Then the piece goes on to reveal the "expert" testimony of a psychologist that claims that pedophilia is a "sexual orientation" just like homosexuality or even heterosexuality.

There is enough here that should alarm the gay community, too. The thing that should scare them most is that this article fully equates child rapists and pedophiles as just like them. The last paragraph is shocking for it dismissive treatment of child rape and its equation of such with “normal” sexual behavior.
The old adage is that the true mark of a society is how it treats the weakest in its ranks. Blacks, women, Latinos, gays and lesbians, and others are still in no way on wholly equal footing in America. But they're also not nearly as lowly and cursed as men attracted to children. One imagines that if Jesus ever came to Earth, he'd embrace the poor, the blind, the lepers, and, yes, the pedophiles. As a self-professed "progressive," when I think of the world I'd like to live in, I like to imagine that one day I'd be OK with a man like Terry moving next door to me and my children. I like to think that I could welcome him in for dinner, break bread with him, and offer him the same blessings he's offered me time and again. And what hurts to admit, even knowing all I know now, is that I'm not positive I could do that.
This is truly deviant stuff. But - you open the door to allow gay as normal, this is what you get.
