His citizenship can be stripped if obtained via fraud. they could go back and look at the refugee application and if anything is amiss well no more citizen. Being that he took his naturalization oath a few months ago there maybe another basis to strip him of citizenship.

Yah- keep it simple and charge him with fist degree murder and run him through the normal channel. The only reason they would consider this enemy combatant thing is because they want to show the world how strict they are and how much resolve they have regarding terrorism.. But the truth might be that they will use him to re-enforce what has become the terror industry...do you really need that?

He came here in 2002 when he was 9 and grew up here.
His brother was the radical that left the country and came back and never became a citizen.

Naw then he'll be subject to the whims of Boston liberals and no death penalty. The Feds can charge him with act of terror or something, conviction then death penalty. All without classifying him as an enemy combatant. Just use the same tactics to convict and execute McVeigh and the DC Sniper.

That maybe but he was not a citizen until Sept 11, 2012.

I do not understand the reasoning or thinking here. I simply do not understand. Mirandize him, prosecute him and sentence him.

It's not that difficult.

You're right but others in power have different ideas here.

Actually, committing a crime will relinquish a naturalized U.S. citizenship anyway, and that doesn't even account for something as great as terrorism.

Awhile back, the Indian kid at Rutgers who video-taped his dorm-mate kissing his boyfriend could have easily been kicked out of the country, but the judge showed leniency. And this was no where near as bad.

Why does everyone care so much about a Muslim terrorist who killed innocent people being Mirandized?? And truthfully, it doesn't matter what you think, the law was followed. Get over it! You mess with Boston, we will get you!

Yep; that is the difference in from past eyars. When first world tade busidig attck occurred it was handled as a state crime.just has we saw a hugh chnage when Organized crime laws where passed i fedrl laws of prosecution of organised crimes we are seeing it with domestic terrorism.I doubt they will even realse what they find out about links to outside groups as its not necessasy now.Just as if they are goig to charge him with capital case it wil be fedral as Mass. has no death penalty.

losing your citizenship after a conviction is not the same as taking it away before being charged so they can alter the charges.
