It clearly says that we have the right to deport any foreign born person regardless of status if they are deemed a threat to the United States .... we did it to German, Japanese, and Italian Americans at the beginning of World War II. We detained tens of thousands of Japanese Americans in prison camps.
Yet we do nothing about the Islamic radicals walking among us.
This dialogue would look very different if the suspects looked more like rightwing nut jobs than the leftwing nut jobs they most certainly more closely resemble. The same questions and criticisms, and more, would be coming from the left, not only about the FBI but also about how everything was handled (or mishandled) in Boston last week.
Ignoring it is not a good idea. Good for you OP for daring not to follow in lockstep (at least on this issue).

Too much focus on name-calling. Though I understand it's what some of the trolls want to do, focusing on name-calling polarizes the discussions. As a whole, I think the population of the USA is best described as "moderate." And moderate people will understand that you sit down, be quiet ... and allow an investigation to unfold, data to be collected, recollections to be recollected, files to be reviewed ... and then once the information has been made available to the public (most if not all) it's time to critique it.

good post.
Same goes for the terrorist flight lessons before 911 in Sarasota, FL and OKC.
For the FBI not to "screw up" they would need to interview and track tens of millions of people.
Freedom comes with a price. Security.
I'm sorry but tens of millions don't fly to questionable countries associated with radicalism.
We have computers that can do a tremendous amount of filtering data to produce a small dataset.
So they shoud have doen what;jail him. Alot of people on o FBI watch for similar thinsg as he posted.I think immagration should have looked at his staus in enterig the country verus his returnigto russian ;really.
And plus if your ID doesn't match your passport doesn't match your airline ticket one shouldn't be given the ok to keep walking. Yet that is what the FBI is saying happened. His name was misspelled and they missed it.
