Good points, Canadians were the major players in rescuing the Iran hostages yet this country tried to take the credit.

Much like Apollo 13. If it wasn't for the Canadians, those "Houston, we have a problem" boys would have been toast. The US glossed over it and no mention of it was made in the movie.
