I think most human beings are good.

Except for Democrats/Liberals/Progressives.

They are evil. They just don't know it.

Um. I say neither. We have the capability to be both. It's mostly in conditioning and some free will.

Ask Anne Frank.

With all the horror that she experienced in her yiung life, she still saw a capacity for good in people.

It exists, but our natural inclination is towards sin.

Jesus Christ died to free us from the bondage of sin.

Good question. Either is the right answer I think.

Some are born bad seeds inherently evil - ill perhaps is a better word. Fouled right down to the genetic level. Not their fault anymore than someone born blind of deaf. Curable in the future? Maybe, but given the constantly mutating strains of virii (and what could be more evil?) one has to wonder. Perhaps evil is not lodged in the state but in the motion of the metamorphosis?

Anyways, others may be born good and turn evil.

And maybe some are born evil and reformed. I heard Son of Sam prays every day.

Then you have to imagine Golum. One born evil, the other would like to be evil but is just too cowardly.

Where self interest is concerned people will always look out for number one.

Is that good? Right? or Bad, wrong?

I'm a big time believer that most people have good intentions even though they may be misguided at times. If there is a tragedy most people will step up to help others. It's the way we're wired. Our ancestors lived in troops (if you believe in evolution) much like the chimpanzees of today. the troops that survived were the ones that cooperated with each other. Those troops eventually became tribes which eventually became countries and empires. In a way the USA or whatever country you live in is like the cultural equivalent of the chimpanzee's troop. The same can be said for other types of communities we live in such as towns, states, companies, or religious groups.

False alternative. I basically agree with the "neither" people. We're just glorified apes with delusions of grandeur. Or "delusions of morality" to quote the android character Ash from the movie Alien.

Humans are truly evil. They seek to destroy all that is good, peaceful, and beautiful. The human race must be eradicated from the earth. If we ever set foot on other planets, the Universe will see the downfall of all living things. We are but the offspring of God, a mighty deity who will torture an infinite number of souls for infinite time. If you have any ounce of good in you, you must realize that your true mission is to wipe off every single human soul off the planet so that innocence can finally enjoy life.
