The Koran is contradictory on the issue of violence for the faith, some passages say to never kill anyone who has surrendered, not to even harm an enemy's tree; however other passages say things like 'Kill the infidel wherever you find them". If you want to use violence against non Muslims there are passages you can use to justify it.
Based on Palestinian bombers targeting woman pushing baby strollers, 9/11 terrorist going after office workers, or Boston Bombers targeting a crowd of race spectators.... seems like the Violent Islam is more popular.
So you're saying it is contradictory nonsense just like the Bible and the Torah? OK, I agree. That's a common failing of religious superstitions.
Yes, not exactly a "turn the other cheek" kind of guy.
When Muslims kill, they are just doing what was commanded of them by their religious leader.
A Muslim guy explained it to me -- he said that Muslims want peace, but peace can only be achieved when everyone is under Sharia law and follows the Koran, until then, people are divided, they believe differently and that leads to friction and war.
He said that Muslims would prefer we all just "see the light" and accept Islam and become good Muslims, and it's not their fault that we create problems by resisting.
This guy was living in the USA.
This is basically what the Muslim leaders in Europe are saying now.
They are also about to execute a woman for converting to Christianity and already stoned her for having sex with her husband. Islam is a plague upon humanity.
Islam is indeed a plague upon humanity.
But then again, ALL religions have their own skeletons. However, Islam certainly appears to be amongst the worst.
If you read the Quran it is filled with violence and jihad, and indeed encourage Muslims to kill infidels in war, kill homosexuals, etc. and many Islamic leaders say that in public
Huh...this sounds very familiar. I wonder why that is?
Oh, that's right. The Crusades definitely ring a bell. You can swap out any religion and place another one in and it'll sound exactly the same.
You are comparing 21st Century with 1000 years ago?
Actually Jesus never encouraged violence, while the Islamic leader has done it himself and does tell his believers to kill infidels in war.
