Pretty much the same crap happened with F&F hearings. People retired or got "new jobs" in the DOJ and didn't testify.

Both the CIA and Susan Rice prefaced their remarks with this is their assessment at the moment. The moment being 3 to 5 days after the event.

Frankly about the only problem I have with the assessment many months later is the nature of the crowd outside the facilities. There is little evidence that it was anything but a militant Islamic group intent on attacking the facilities. As to whether or not it was spontaneous or pre-planned I don't think we really know.

How about peeling back the layers and seeing what is at stake here? This isn't about Obama. It's about disgracing the administration for any wrongdoing that may be proven. Beneath that layer, you will find the target - which is Hillary. They want to find her culpable of something - anything - and disgrace her enough to stop her from making a pitch for the presidency in 2016, and if it doesn't stop her, that will be the stick they will keep poking her with during the campaign for president, which will probably kick off next year.

IMO, Hillary knows exactly what happened. Whatever she did or didn't do, were the result of orders that were handed to her by Obama. People seem to forget that Valerie Jarrett is the force behind Obama and that's where he gets his direction from. Hillary, like everyone in the Obama administration get their orders from Obama. If Hillary was to tell what she knows she would surely end any chance of getting the 2016 nod from the Ds and be seen as a "traitor" to the party. It's just one of those things where the end justifies the means.

The Rs don't have a candidate that can win 2016, with the exception of Christie and I doubt the R party will support him, as they see him as a "traitor" for acknowleding Obama's response to Sandy, he's his own man and they won't be able to control him and make him bend to their agenda. He may also be very capable of working with the Ds.

Peel back the layers people. We will never know the full truth about Benghazi, nothing is going to happen to Obama, but there can be damage to someone who could possibly be the next President.

Isn't it embarrassing?

Remember when the Watergate hearings were on EVERYWHERE? (there were only three stations, excluding public television then).

The coverage of the hearings made the fourth page of our local newspaper.

The propaganda machine of the left is in full gear in attempting to bury the story for thier master.

You as well. It seems I was under a false impression I was discoursing with an actual schooled person not just a Democrat operative.

Take the fact that Mr. Hicks was demoted, had a "minder" there whenever he spoke to officials like Mr. Chaffee, was urged or coached on what he "will" say by an administration official and was pretty much raked over the coals by state.
So yeah, when Jackie out of the blue comes up with that question? My first thought when it came out was "ok, here comes the threats".

The unspoken words that begin with "or else".

So, in your mind, Bob, Benghazi is just a "witch hunt"?

Do you think, in your mind, that everything was handled just fine, there was no cover up, and the hearings should be shut down?
