You know, I actually think this is the best summary yet.

I tend to respect brains over brawn (although both are nice), which is probably why I have less disdain for our current POTUS.

What Obama did was a limited attack to bring down the Libyan government that was about to slaughter a quarter of a million civilians. It cost very little money and no American lives. It was an action Newt Gingrich agreed with -- before Obama did it -- then Gingrich was against it.

Well I am not a liberal, but we haven't lost 3000 Americans in a terrorist attack for one. We haven't started two wars which lasted almost 10 years between the two, and unpaid for. President Obama wasn't at the helm with the largest economic crash since the great depression. Single largest expansion of Medicare under Bush. The federal government can look at the books I check out at the library ......

List goes on and on. Now, I will say that Bush was more effective at getting government to work! Meaning that they were passing laws and legislation. Obama is an ineffective leader. But Washington seems to work best when nothing gets done.

Really? Don't you remember Katrina, which happened when Bush was on vacation? Bush appointed a guy with no experience to run FEMA -- I take that back, he had experience running horse shows.

The Bush WH also outed a CIA agent; they fired Asst US Attorneys for not prosecuting democrats who were political foes but committed no crimes; they tapped American's phones without warrant and locked up citizens without charges. That's getting government to work?

But why was Bush able to pass legislation? For most of the time they had a GOP House and Senate and when they didn't, the Democratic Senate didn't filibuster every single Bush initiative.

They are focusing more on oil now.

They have always been focused on the oil.
That is all Halliburton does. Government contracts. From 2007, that increases yearly. 32 billion last year and your showing 18.4 billion as big money under Bush. Halliburton has made 3 times more in 4 years, than it did in 8 years under Bush.

People appreciate the fact that he removed himself from the public eye. Sarah Palin would be more popular if she did the same.

The thing is, while Obama is more smooth and polished than Duhbya, he isn't any smarter. I think Duhbya might have an edge over Obama in at least knowing his limitations and being able to admit his flaws. Obamas too much of a narcassist and has had too many enablers to handle failure when it happens.
