I'm okay with voter ID as long as it's free to obtain. Why do many conservatives oppose that?

Criminals do not are about any laws and it is a pretty well known that most violant criminals are liberals,by behavior.
Gun laws restrict only effect those that are law abiding .
What liberals are protecting is their criminal children, from the conciquences of violance.
This is a fact , because it is the mothers of gang members that make the big stink over gun violance.
It is also a fact that is is an illegally acquired gun that is criminals use .
Stupid morons. If it is not guns it will be something else and something else. the word in not gun control, it is people control.
When I was a kid ,you could camp on the beach for free and all was fine , then because of a FEW bad eggs, liberals pass laws that punish every one, rather than deal with the individuals that were the problem leaving a mess.
So their reasoning is ,if a few can't dicipline themselves than no one can be trusted. they don't like dealing with the individual. Nor do they like morality nor laws that require truth, except when it is to their own precieved advantage.
Their definition of equality does not earn the right, but demands it like a petulant child.
Catering to that mentality, is how we have the government we do now.
Well behaved gun owners do not need to be punished for the few idiots and liberals that abuse something.
Creating more laws is not going to hamper criminals, but will further empower them .

We don't charge for rights in this country. Enacting a voter ID law and charging for it is akin to a poll tax.
That's what the liberals in Canada like too do..They like a soft on crime approach..the gentle handling of evil. They don't believe in national autonomy - familiar autonomy....or borders. There is this pie in the sky idea that "we are all one" and there is no evil in the world - just misunderstanding. As for voting - there are "permanent" immigrants in Canada who have been here for 20 years who have not bothered to take the oath..because they do not consider this host nation home...but our civil left insist that they should be able to vote....I don't think they want to vote...Liberals assume a lot when it comes to immigrants and immigration - that they will add to wonderful diversity and be part of the national family. It's not always the case. The back ground checks for immigrants are not conducted with any real diligence...already we have had a few that want to chop off the Prime Ministers head...blow up our stock exchange and NOW they want to start de-railing our trains...
You must be realistic...not all people you love are going to love you back...but liberals seem to think this is how love works.
Why is it, that liberals want back ground checks on guns, but its just say who you are and you get to vote?
Because voter ID would eliminate all of the dead and illegal Democrats from voting.
Because everyone only votes at the voting poll rather than mail-in ballot. Requiring voter ID only really works with those who vote at the poll and voter fraud rarely happens that way.
But then I could always use the gun nuts logic, there is voter fraud even though there is laws against it, so why have laws against it?
Do you mean gun buyers have to pay for the background checks required before a dealer can sell them a gun?
Sorry, I don't make myself clear. In order to get a CCP, you have to pay for the background check.
