There were some fifteen national intelligence agencies across the globe that stated there was a strong liklihood saddam's regime possessed WMD, are you ludicrously claiming that they all manufactured their reports? Some of these countries aren't even close allies of the US...

Who is "the madman" in the Syrian civil war? I assume you mean Assad, but if Assad falls, what do you think would happen afterwards? Are you aware of the inter-war battles going on between different rebel factions, including extremist factions? What makes you think that Assad's fall would end the war, as opposed to setting off an even-messier war between even more factions? Time to stop using two-toned thinking here and use more of the palette.

This is the problem with not thinking things through - you end up starting down roads that lead nowhere good.
Good thoughts.
This is a 3 prong civil war that again, we should mind our own business about unless we want thousands of boots on the ground fighting pretty much everyone.
Unfortunately Obama said what he said and now if he doesn't back it up there are other countries that are watching and will be encouraged to proceed under the idea that he's all talk and no action.

Of course, in some people's worlds if huffpo and Move-On says so it absolutely must be true. Sad, isn't it?

Last night I hear John McCain saying Assad is gassing his people to hang onto power. Does that really make sense to anybody here? Come on, think people. Who wants regime change in Syria, and will stop at nothing to get it. USA, Israel, Sunni Saudi Arabia. We rape and pillage then take everything they've got, resources, wealth, then turn it over to the Sunni, who will do as we say or else.
They asked him if the reports about us providing weapons to the rebel mercenaries was true. He says, we are trying, but haven't been able to do so yet. Others are doing so. BS
We are sending weaponry, supplies and money thru back channels, because it would be against international law to cop to it.
The rebels will or are using chemical weapons on these people and blaming the Syrian gov't. That is the only thing that makes sense.

Syria is the excuse to get the war machine running in overdrive. And once again the American people will fall for it.

Will you spew that ron paul-esque garbage every time a military action might be in the calling? Or will you wait for your masters in the "Illuminati" section of the Branch Davidians and Westboro Church to let you know when to pull that line out?

Not if we were minding our own business right? But I don't think we need worry, it seems the "red line" was moved today.
