Default 'Evidence' of the use of chemical weapons in Syria, ready for our next war?

We already have 200 troops near Syria ready to build things such as bases, so now we're only months away from attacking Syria in my opinion.

with some degree of varying confidence.........

Hagel: U.S. believes Syrian regime may have used chemical weapons - U.S. News

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said Thursday that the U.S. believes "with some degree of varying confidence" the Syrian government has used chemical weapons -- specifically the nerve agent sarin -- against its own people.

Hagel could not say whether Syria had crossed the "red line" laid down by President Obama, who has said evidence that chemical weapons were used would be a "game-changer" in whether the U.S. intervenes in the Syrian civil war.

"The U.S. intelligence community assesses with some degree of varying confidence the Syrian regime has used chemical weapons on a small scale in Syria, specifically the chemical agent sarin," Hagel told reporters while traveling in Abu Dhabi.

I hope they don't start a war when they have "some degree of varying confidence" about the evidence.

That's just silly!

Where would Syria have gotten ahold of poison gas?

Everyone knows Iraq never had WMDs and they certainly didn't send them across the border to Syria.

Those were just Internet rumors.

No money for air traffic controllers but now setting up the drumbeat of war. How about we sit this one out?

I've also read that it may be the rebels who used the chemical weapons and that neither side is above using them and declaring the other side did it.

Not our problem. This had better not be used as justification for war (or drone strikes or operations or whatever else they want to call war.) Congress should sit on its hands. We need to worry more about ourselves and give up the 'world police' role for all time and eternity.

I know we laid out this red line, but now what exactly are we supposed to do? I know the regime their is very bad, but are the people under attack any better?
