Starve the beast.
Sadly, that does indeed seem to be the only way to purge the parasites from the system.

It won't happen until Bernanke stops printing.
The beast is gorging on borrowed money now.

Nope. That does not work either. If you had been paying attention for the last 6 years, you would notice that the federal government has been spending about a trillion more than they are collecting in revenue. When there is insufficient revenues to pay for the federal government, the federal government simply prints more money, lowering the value of the dollar, and increasing the National Debt.

This is not something the States are capable of doing, which is why social programs need to remain at the State level and abolished from federal control.

How are they "managed?" Money is taken from the productive citizens and then GIVEN to the non-productive. That's how it works in the U.S.

Jobs, Jobs, Jobs... where the fk are they?

Mickey D's? Wally world?

We have a decimated blue collar work force, with ZERO growth in blue collar, tradesmen.

When it all goes to CHina, India, Africa... we become a welfare country. When there is little to no hope for a fulfilling work and life existence.... Welfare is the best thing going for the working lost.

46 Million working age people doing jack crap.

Politicians and Wall st. in an incestuous relationship, means we are all retarded.... and not the good way.

I think the whole arguement would be funny if it was not so ironic. Here we are debating over the so called "takers" meanwhile many of you do not realize that those so-called "contributors" get more money from the government from paying less taxes, subsidies ect. than what is spent on public safety nets. The only thing that really bothers me is those of you who are comfortable sitting back colecting your retirement, Social Security ect. checks are hypnotized by some millionaires on television backed by billionaires trying to destroy the air and water into believing that poor people are the probelm for our financial situation. What is going to eventually happen is as soon as enough social programs are cut to the point that people want to revolt aginst the government (remember the French Revolution?) those drone strikes and martial law will marshal in the United Police States of America and possibly a New World Order. Go ahead and call it crazy, but you have to admit since 9/11/2001 we have been slowly losing our rights.

Here are some facts:

Map of which states have the lowest welfare rate as a percentage of population (lowest = 1st place) to states with the highest welfare participation rate as a percentage of population (50 = highest).

How ironic, all the red republican states are the biggest recipients of welfare. Just goes to show how related education level and socio-economics are.
