Lets look at cost of living/average income.
For 2012 Median Household income:
Mass is $62,859
Texas was $49,392

One would look at that and say Conservative Texas is getting blased by Liberal Massachusetts.
But when you factor in cost of living, the picture is different.

In fact, If a guy in Dallas making the Median income in Texas, moved to Boston and got a raise to the Mass Median he would quickly find that his raise from $50,000 per year, up to $63,000 per year was in fact a CUT IN PAY!

You see, to replace his Texas $50k Salary, he would need $71,361 just to tread water.

Texas blasts Massachusetts by a mile.

Texas conservative policy means the cost of living is lower and the income is just better.

expense has to be calculated as a percentage of income to matter. Who cares if you bills are 2X cheaper in Alabama if you are now making 1/4th the income you were making.

dont kid yourself. Its the policy.

natural resources dont make poor black kids in Dallas do better than poor Black kids in Boston in education.

California is as rich in natural resources as Texas. It certainly is not doing as well.

Again, Median income in Texas is $50k
California is $57K

But the guy in Dallas moving to LA would need $69K to replace is $50K income

Mass is uber rich because of its East coast ports. California is as rich in natural resources as Texas is and still Texas is killing Cali.

California's Report Card is dredful.

Education standards, Jim Crow laws, quality of workforce, history and age of the state, etc. You would have to look at the cost of living to make a fair comparison though. $35K might have you living in squalor in NYC, but in MS it's probably a very good income. Also, MS was under democratic control for decades. There may or may not be bad policies still in place.

Ok conservatives, please point to the states that best shows conservative policies in action

You mean, a state that isn't diminished by liberalism at all?

There are none.

Anything else I can help you with?
