In all fairness to Bush when asked about the events in Boston he was most likely referencing Bill Buckner's error in Game Six of the 1986 World Series that cost the Sox the game with the Mets going on to win in 7.

Hmmm, very interesting, um, choice of words from the painter. I think this was maybe a true, freudian slip.

I'm not typically into these conspiracies, but this small sound byte makes me wonder.

One question to everyone who believes 9/11 was done by Al-Qaeda, Why was the hole in the Pentagon smaller than the "plane" that hit it?

It is EXTREMELY odd that Bush stopped himself mid-sentence, and changed his partial word of "conspira" to "highly organized attack"?

You have to admit it makes you go hmmmmmmm.....

Exactly what did Bush know that he is not telling us?

I think they managed to do that quite well.

I speak as a degreed aerospace engineer.

1. It wasn't as small as you think. The "small" hole pointed to by Truthers was not the hole caused on the exterior wall by the original impact. They point to an approximately 13ft wide hole in the c-ring, when the actual impact hole on the external wall was (before the later collapse) approximately 75ft wide. The smaller hole was caused by the airplane's landing gear, since the aircraft fuselage had disintegrated before it got that far.

2. The external hole was (before collapse) exactly what should be expected by a jet of that size hitting a reinforced concrete building. The wings (being essentially just big fuel tanks) do not have the mass or the rigidity to survive an impact with the sort of load bearing columns that constituted the Pentagon's external wall. It would have been like a bug hitting your windshield on the interstate. And one of the wings had already been destroyed by hitting the ground prior to the final impact anyway.

In short... the hole in the Pentagon was exactly what should have been expected by a wide-body jet hitting the building at the speed and in the manner in which it did.
