You want the military to stay in Afghanistan so no has his "tail between his legs"?

When does YOUR child leave?

You post isn't exactly clear. Other than it gave you a chance to say something rude about Obama.

including Ghengis Khan, a very experienced invader.

What? Michael Moore's Website: More U.S. Military Deaths in Afghanistan Under Obama Than Bush
I don't fault Obama if he believes it is in our best interest to leave...but this war is as much Obama's as it is Bush's.

#1 Obama voted for the Afghan war and so did Biden as US Senators.

#2 Obama chose to double down on Afghan and send far more soldiers there than Bush had - perhaps why the casualty numbers are about 5 times higher per year under Obama than Bush in Afghanistan?

#3 Obama has chosen to continue the war for the first four years of his presidency and we'll see when we are really out.

We should've abandoned Afghanistan an hour after we got there.

They had to stay long enough for an American contractor to fully conduct a geological survey to determine which resources we could steal at a later date. Turns out, we found 1 trillion worth of lithium, gold, copper, iron, and rare earth minerals.

WE WIN!!

We never should have gone there to begin with - another economy-wrecking Bush war, started because he was our 'war-president'. What a waste of money and innocent life. I think Bush is headed straight for hell - oh, and don't check out any books chump.

The problem is when U.S. troops leave, no longer can Republicans/Democrats assure the uninterrupted flow of money to "protect the troops", and the clock on billions of dollars in aid begins to see an end game when legislators have to justify squandering hundreds of billions to puppet regimes run by warlords who keep the money for themselves.

I thought we were going there to kill people, so why have we stayed so long after we made them dead?

You can't bring these people into the twenty-first century.

They are comfortable living in the seventh century, beating women, chopping off each other's heads and executing religious converts, unfaithful wives and homosexuals.

Nothing we can do will change that.
