As someone who studied law, I must explain to you that there is either free speech or there is no free speech. If free speech exists on this board, then I can express a vocal attack towards you without it being moderated out. We both know that is not true. Thus there is no free speech on this board.
"Plenty of free speech" indicates that there are more than two states of free speech. This is incorrect.
I agree. I got an infraction on CD for telling someone to shut up after they called me stupid because of an opinion I had. For sure there is not free speech on these forums.
Because of 911, the recent bomb attack on the marathon, and world affairs, I think it is time to take drasatic steps to protect our nation. Bring our troops from the other side of the world home, keep our money here. Let the other side of the world fight their own battles, pay for their military weapons, etc. I think America needs to make all non-citizens (from all countries) leave the United States (for our protection). Our miltary could be utilized patroling the streets. These are very dangerous times -- it would not bother me at all (senior citizen born and raised in the USA) to have officers watch me out in public or to be stopped on the street to check citizenship, answer questions-- it is worth it to make our country safe.
America gives physican postiions to Asians, Muslims, etc. I worked with them, very nice people they were. BUT a lot of Americans graduating from medical schools cannot get a job, yet we give the jobs to foreigners. Also, the illegals (& I knew some of them, all good people wanting to live a good life as we do) are taking the lower paying jobs away from Americans. The people collecting unemploymen, welfare, etc. should be made to take those jobs (if able to physically) and their earnings deducted from their government subsidy.
And... we need to put God back in our government, in our schools, in our daily lives!
Sergey Brin for starters. One of my cousins is the head of the IT department at his company, and about a quarter of his staff is from Russia. Russia, Iran, and India(China too but not many Muslims from there) provide a disproportional amount of entrepreneurs to this country and immigrants from these countries are extremely well represented in tech.

Most general physicians own their practice. Anyone can set up shop once they get experience. Being American is not a limitation.
Injecting God into government, education, and on the general public is a HUGE step backwards. Keep God limited to religious venues.

Sure we sure keep the muslims from getting into this country as well as Jews and Christians as well since each religion has hand involved in some terroristic act in some fashion or another.
Would you be okay with blocking Jewish people from getting into the country also?
