How could those few billion dollars we give to Egypt and Israel destabilize the region?

That's ridiculous.

You do know the Egypt has been receiving tons of military equipment just like Israel over the past 34 years and now it's in the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood, don't you? Unlike Israel, Egypt has been stockpiling theirs. Also you do know where the Suez Canal is and in who's hands it's currently in, don't you?

If you stop helping Egypt, its economy could get worse and would probably increase anti-American and anti-Israeli feelings. So I don't think it is ridiculous at all.

Don't you think it's worth something to have influence on at least one side of the Suez Canal?

Agreed! Like sending aid to Pakistan. They appreciated it and rewarded us with hiding Bin Laden. Muslim Brothers in Egypt also show us their love. (As you lnow, love can be expressed in many ways).

Tell me something i don't know.

Egypt can't defeat Israel in a war regardless of how much crap they're stockpiling. So please, stop making excuses for Israeli aid. They don't need it.

So the most powerful nation in the world should submit to blackmail because the Egyptians can't get their thing together?

Yep. We'd have that influence anyway.

You're allowed to be uneducated. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...rorist_attacks

Barack Obama...
"The slaughter of innocent Israelis is not resistance -- it's injustice.

Let's be honest: Israel is surrounded by neighbors that have waged repeated wars against it. Israel's citizens have been killed by rockets fired at their houses and suicide bombs on their buses. Israel's children come of age knowing that throughout the region, other children are taught to hate them. Israel, a small country of less than eight million people, looks out at a world where leaders of much larger nations threaten to wipe it off of the map. These facts cannot be denied."

Israel receives only military hardware. Israelis purchase upwards of $14 billion/year in American products while YOU buy from China.

I studied the Koran a great deal. I came away from that study with the conviction there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad. So far as I can see, it is the principal cause of the decadence so visible today in the Muslim world and, though less absurd than the polytheism of old, its social and political tendencies are in my opinion to be feared, and I therefore regard it as a form of decadence rather than a form of progress in relation to paganism itself.
