NHomo sexuality is not really sexuality. In some homosexual acts no sexual organs are used. So why do we insist on referring to this as something to do with real sex? There is nothing wrong with showing love to the opposite sex or the same sex...BUT the attempt to sexualize what in some cases might be a non-sexual human being suggests abuse of a human being,.In prior eras common sodomy was practiced by straight males - who dominated submissive sexless males. I just don't believe that homosexuality is for the most part about love.

I'm a heterosexual male, I've certainly engaged in sex acts that have not involved either the penis or vagina.
I also find it almost certain that some heterosexual couples are also based on things other than love.
It's no big deal. There have been homosexual athletes for years and it doesn't really matter who someone sleeps with. If he chooses to tell his orientation let him if not that's fine too.
I would love to find out if any gold digging men will be knocking on his door now. I'm sure that another story for the tabloids.

I think Collins is getting so much attention because he's the closest to actually still having a career in one of the major sports. He's 34 years old, hasn't had a decent season in 8 years. Safe time for him to come out.

Tennis went through this decades ago. Billy Jean King, Maria Navratilova (I doubt I am spelling that correctly), It had little or no impact on that sport, either. Just as it will have no lasting impact on the NBA. Or the NFL when Romo comes out
