The government. The actions of government have impacts that can be felt far and wide and for a long time.

[and not always for the right reasons]

Dude..clowns don't eat people, methheads eat people..leave candy bars on your front porch to distract them and you don't have to fear them either.

I am not living in fear of any of those things. I am much more concerned about things that are realistically a risk to me, such as chronic disease or age-related disability.

Government abuse of power and continued growth is by far our biggest threat.

I agree. When I ran off and joined the Circus as a young man I was employed as a fortune teller. My job was to read the wrinkles in mens scrotums and predict their future. As you can imagine, the job required that you had warm hands, so prior to going to work I would take my two hamsters, lefty and cletus, and cup them in my hands to increase my body temperature. One day, the resident clown stepped on my hamsters, killing both of them instantly. (they do have big feet, I mean the clowns)
I was forced to fall back on plan B, aerospace engineer. I still wake up at night in a cold sweat thinking about clowns.
