It depends on the circumstances, definitely.

A kid who has nobody to teach him how to handle a gun, who lives in a city, who wants to buy a handgun ? Probably age 40.

A kid who grew up in a responsible houseold, without another house for miles, who hunts, who wants to buy a shotgun? Maybe as young as 8, but certainly by age 13.

We make kids wait until 16 before they can drive cars.

We make kids wait until they are 18 before they can vote.

We make kids wait until they are 21 before they can drink.

But we allow 5 year old children to shoot real bullets?

How screwed up is that!!!!!

There's no minimum age for the First Amendment. Why should the Second Amendment be any different? Don't you believe in the Constitution?

So, remove the restrictions on toy guns. Problem solved.
