Israel declared the transfer of advanced weapons to hezbullah would be a red line for them. Assad was warned through third parties. This has to be an embarrassment for Obama since he looks impotent after his red line of chemical weapons use was crossed.

I hope someone in the white house is taking notes. When you don't take action after you said you would, later statements have little meaning.

Israel enjoys the luxury of knowing the US has its back, the US enjoys no such reciprocal luxury.

Obama's red line has wheels on it and they are rolling that line back so it really wasn't crossed.

He can always come back with "I didn't mean that".

There really is no winning scenario for the U.S. for getting directly involved in Syria.

If Israel perceives wants to launch strikes for the sake of their own security, more power to them.

Generally, it's better that Middle Easterners expend all of their energy in killing themselves rather than directing that energy outwards.

There was also no reason to issue that threat about crossing the red line to begin with.

FOX News has the Israel worshippers shouting "Hallelujah!" today.

Like Pavlov's dog, Israeli airstrikes trigger the slobber reflex.

Barry has "led from behind" so many times that they are now just moving ahead and letting him find out about it in the news. He is insignificant on the world stage.

It is two groups of terrorists fighting each other now. How does one justify geting involved?

Israel is just potecting themselves from the transfer of weapons in their own back yard.

I don't have Obama's back too often, but here, I do.

Huh? Are you just saying this because it sounds good to you?

I dont think either country needs each other, or anyone else for that matter, to have their backs here. This is Syria we are talking about, not China.
