Attacking citizens that are enjoying their Constitutional rights. Nice.

About as long as Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly can, I suspect.

Why do you hate our Constitution so much?

I'm also pretty sure that the majority of folks attending the event aren't the criminals committing crimes with guns.

Those guns protect us against our government, that IS as deadly. Just ask all the people killed by the guns in Fast and Furious.

I wonder how much of the content will be about guns, gun safety and other pertinant matters, and how much will be anti-government rhetoric and propaganda designed to continue to incite fear?

The NRA seems to support the "anti-government" apocalypse theory as a means to create demand.

I don't mind anyone having a gun in their home to protect themselves, or rifles from hunting or sport. When they are amassing a private arsenal because the NRA and the part of the right wing blogosphere has convinced theme they'll need to take up arms against the government that things get dangerous.

Case in point. This is an example of the insanity that the NRA encourages. Some of these people will "defend themselves against the government" at the wrong time and innocents will be killed.

Is this pure conjecture on your part ? When has this happened in the past ?

Some of those "nuts" NRA members are using the convention to make public statements in support for background checks.

They will be, you see, people on the right do have their own minds, unlike some on the left.

We like to look at the entire picture, unlike some on the left.

Knee jerk reactions and passing laws to feel good, does not make a law any better or will produce anything other than making that person feel good.

It has nothing to do with left and right. A lot of people in the left are gun owners and NRA members
