Most of this nations wars have been fought under DEMOCRATIC administrations....

This makes absolutely no sense. Can't Viet Nam and Iraq be equally ridiculous empire building ventures, both based on smoke and mirrors and scaring the general public into acquiesence? Open your eyes and take off the political blinders, guy. So one guy was Democrat and the other Republcian, whoop de doo.
Why not huge protests with the Balkan War? I think a much better explanation is that it was a smaller engagement that affected much fewer Americans directly and also had much smaller implications for the country should things go south...not too mention cost hundreds of billions of dollars less...so far. Not that we had much business going in there either.
Can't the U.S. defend itself....or its interests without it constantly being 'white-washed' as some sort of latent colonialist tendency??? [put down the Marx]

As for smoke and mirrors...that would have to be, with out a doubt, the Roosevelt Administration getting the U.S. involved in the Second World War.
There is a case where we have U.S. and British banks to thank for essentially funding the Nazis rise to power and the rebuilding of the German war machine.
Oh...and thank the Turks and the Brits the Russians the French and the Germans for the mess in the near east...[middle east]....
All this is just the latest move in the 'Great Game'.......and to those not aware....the fight in the Balkans....[still a trouble spot...with U.S. troops and 'advisors' on the ground....all these years later....].....the trouble in Turkey...the wars in Palestine and Iraq....they are all related.....

I personally have never heard anyone say that "red state people are uneducated". In fact, I hear the exact opposite. Like your statement of "the idiotic left"
